^ An interesting contrast to my experience with IndiGo: A friend of mine visiting India from the US was booked on the Air Deccan flight yesterday (Dec 29) from Chennai (Madras) to Bombay. Late in the morning he got a call on his US cell phone from Air Deccan, telling him that his flight had been delayed by 6 hours, and offering to either give him a full refund or rebook him for the next days' flight if the delayed flight was going to be inconvenient (since it was now leaving very late in the night).
Good for Air Deccan! IndiGo could certainly learn something from this.
