I just flew BKK-LAX on TG 794 -- we arrived at LAX at some sort of remote island and were bussed from there to the main international terminal. Considering this is one of TG's Flagship flights, I was VERY surprised about this...had flown UA going there (via Tokyo) and was given a direct gate at BKK -- no bussing (granted we were 3 hours late and arrived at 2 a.m. in the morning, but still...). TG794 doesn't have First, only Biz (which I flew) and it was NOT a very good welcome to L.A.
