I have booked a trip to Hawaii for my father from March 14th till March 17th. He arrives in Honolulu (from Boston via San Francisco) and leaves for Seoul Korea via Tokyo from Honolulu. While I think Ohau can be exciting, I am not sure if it is best place to vacation.

Any suggestion on which island to vacation in? And which resort hotel should he stay? The purpose of this trip is for him to rest and enjoy the Hawaiian scenery as much as he can (this doesn't mean him being an active tourist... but more like laying on the beach and sipping maitai... though he doesn't drink. You get the picture).
