IIRC, the best bet would be to use your OnePass number and call in just before the 3-day window. Since CO and NW Elites are supposed to be treated "equally", the agent should manually upgrade you if the seats are available.

The trick here is to go on your Gold status, since Silvers don't get the upgrade in advance under any circumstances.
