They already participate in BD Diamond Club but just add up bonus miles.

As a full *A member it would be status miles too and a great opportunity for many (including me) to maintain elite status easier.

I would take VS service in UC as well Y anytime over LH/BA/UA. Their premium product is great. Maybe only NZ can compete with them on the LHR-LAX route but I just flew this route on DEC29 and was totally satisfied.

I have to agree that VS might not win that much with participation as a full *A member. They just would have to upgrade their computer systems etc pp... At the moment they work with several * partners as part of their round the world ticket.

But is SQ as shareholder enough to push VS into *A?? I doubt it...
