Yes, I did for the original bookings.

But for a new booking I tried to make yesterday the AMEX TA once again gave the old amenity. When I said that his information was incorrect he replied that they only get the new books here in New Zealand in March

I am now checking all my bookings. There are already several I will cancel because of a devaluation which makes other programmes (e.g. Virtuoso) more attractive. What a hassle.
