True....the "west end" of the Dumbarton is likely closer to the W than most of Fremont's restaurant offerings.

BUT....
If the newylweds are up for Gelato, 'tho,....
If it's still open, there's a decent gelato place not far from the W....Gelato Classico, or something like that, just on the Fremont side of 880, off of Mowry & Farwell, I think. It's no italy, but it's pretty decent and seems to get a lot of good reviews,and it's open 'til 10pm usually. (For me personally, NOTHING comes close to that awesome pile-it-on ice cream shop that used to be behind the Hub). Maybe a 5-min. drive from the W tops (Thornton over to Cherry over to Mowry & just over 880, I think).
