I am disappointed to see so many cycnics and skeptics. I think this has the potential to be wonderful.

Having grown up in L.A. and with many contacts in the entertainment industry, I have known several Disney employees as well as some executives along the way. I do know that Disney runs a VERY tight ship. The parks, film studios, retail outlets, all have extraordinarily high standards and an extremely low tolerance for sub-standard performance and attitude.

I would think that those here who complain constantly about UA employee attitudes should be jumping up and down right about now. The emphasis on customer experience is encouraging to me, as is Disney's well-known commitment to excellence in all that they do in their associated markets.

If anyone should be feeling down about this, it should be the frontline UA employees. I predict that marginally acceptable behavior will soon become quite unacceptable.
