Legal position on compensation, etc

Hi all

For a while I've been considering posting a summary of the various legal and regulatory issues relating to compensation for cancelled flights, late flights, lost or damaged baggage, etc. This isn't to encourage people to become litigious but rather to try and provide useful information.

Of course this would not constitute legal advice, but would be more of an FAQ, possibly with links to the relevant pieces of legislation, regulation and / or BA policies. It'll also be limited to the laws of England and Wales (including any relevant international treaties or conventions affecting this legal system).

Would this be of interest to fellow travellers?

If so would any other legal eagles like to help in this task? To set your expectations it could take a couple of months to perfect, although a beta version may be available sooner (the disclaimer will take a couple of days to draft!!! ).

Cheers
