For a view of the Bridge, the Park Hyatt is unparalled and a very nice hotel to boot (although the rooms are a little small for my taste). The Four Seasons, as mentioned, is also very nice with views from higher floors. My personal favorite, albeit without a view, is the Observatory, an Orient Express hotel, just outside of downtown on a quiet residential street. Rooms are very large, the restaurant is outstanding and it's small enough that the staff will know your name by the second day of stay.

In Singapore, my favorite is the Ritz-Carlton Millenia with the only negative being its location about a ten minute cab ride from most of the downtown office builidngs. The Four Season, also terrific, is similarly ten minutes from downtown, but is close to shopping on near the subway.
