Question Does a second BA visa card get bonus miles?
I had a British Airways visa card (with Bank One) that I canceled a year or two ago. I recently applied for a new BA visa card (with Chase), which comes with 15,000 bonus miles for opening the account. I then saw recent posts re Chase no longer awarding bonus miles for second United Airlines visa cards. Now I have received the BA card but have not activated it yet.

Does anyone know/care to speculate re whether I'd get the BA bonus miles under these circumstances? Or does its UA visa card policy apply here as well.

I guess a related consideration is whether Bank One is an independent bank or whether, IIRC, it was bought by Chase.
