For restaurants ( i think you want to try lebanese food i went to these and i think they are quite unique places)
Abdel wahab al inglesi - traditional classy lebanese , expensive , in ashrafieh
Cafe blanc - trendy lebanese food in abc mall ashrafieh , or try Leila a new more traditional
Mandarin - lebanese mezze on conveyer, in Beirut-Verdun
Al balad - dowtown, good ,popular, reasonable priced
for lebanese fastfood try the "zaatar w zeit" chains, budget prices, several branches all over Beirut, next one to your place is the one at Sodeco square,
bars.. now its getting complicated.. are you a f/f, m/f or m/m couple and whats your age ?

Thanks very much :-: :-: :-:
I am travelling with my girlfriend and we are on quite a limited budget. We are backpacking so don't have super nice clothes, but might be able to pick up some new shoes or something if there is some club or bar that we absolutely should not miss. We are both in our mid-twenties.
Thanks again for your tips ^
