The OP doesn't realize what a loaded question he is asking. If the purchaser of the tickets could receive the miles, many corporations would receive the miles and it would toast the purpose of the loyalty programs.
I did it a few times on Indy Air last year since they really had no systems to prevent this, but, they were a whole different hopeless story to begin with anyways..
