They're not supposed to AFAIK. A while ago I visited the lounge at TXL in the morning and again in the evening of the same day. On the 2nd visit, the lounge attendant swiped my card and after a few seconds asked me if I had been there earlier that day. I said yes, then she told me that I don't have to pay twice on the same day.

So just keep the slip and show it for re-entry.
