I did have such a problem 2 months ago, when trying to check in at the LX first-class counter in ZRH.

I was allowed to leave my luggage with them for some minutes and had to go to the OS ticket counter (at the far end of the swiss terminal, where the LX, LH and OS counters are located, the OS counter is all on the right at the end of the terminal, wome 40 metres from the LX first-class check-in). Luckily there was no queue at the OS ticket counter, and I was issued a paper ticket (against me e-ticket infomation and print-out) without costs in some seconds.
