Or in Club Europe they could stop converting the seats to 2-3 and have 3-3 config, heard something about them thinking of doing that -don't know how reputable it is, doubt it will happen to be honest.
Had it a couple of times now. Nothing spectacular, and the wierdest bit is that the matress is a bit short for the seat, so one ends up having ones feet over the edge, or the matress doesn't quite go all the way under the pillow. I'm about 5'8", so pretty average, I suppose. The pursers on both flights were also a bit bemused about it.
Do people think that WW will keep slicing bits off the matress to save more money? If he suggested taking 6" off the originally planned 6' then that would be quite close to his target of 10 per cent.
Some suggestions for more savings:
- Perhaps we'll now see cups / mugs of tea being filled to 90 per cent capacity
- 18 year old scotch will now be 16 years old
- LHR-JNB flighs will now only go as far as HRE
Hey, they're no more ridiculous than some of the other ideas they've come up with
And to the BA lurkers (in case you hadn't noticed) there's quite a few of us who are getting a bit hot under the collar at all the salami tactics / enhancements.
