Earlier comment was correct -- family emergencies can be pleaded for schedule changes, but not bereavement (need proof sent to NWA).
Good Idea. Thanks to all of you for your help. I used 21,000 miles (used my Visa coupon) to fly my Brother-in-law from GFK-DTW with less than 12 hours notice. North Dakota = unpopular route = benefit for me.
