But the day I booked it you could only choose "e-ticket" which was fine by me. Later they changed the booking engine again to "paper-ticket" only.

In Amadeus I can see that en E-ticket as well as "paper ticket" was issued for the booking.

So I phone Austrian and Swiss:

Austrian says it is an e-ticket.
Swiss, however, says that they do not have an agreement to accept e-tickets on AUA stock for them I would have to present a paper ticket at check-in.

The point is I never got a paper ticket from Austrian as they say they have issued an e-ticket.

Has any of you guys travelled with an AUA-stock e-ticket on a leg not involving ZRH-VIE. Did it work? Any experiences?
A few weeks ago I travelled MUC-ZRH-VIE-BSL-MUC on an AUA issue eticket in AUA stock (purchased online). No problems at all. MUC-ZRH was operated by Swiss.
