My wife has a mega dust allergy (and other stuff too)...we've used several Sharper Image Ionic Breeze units for quite a few years now with reasonable satisfaction...however at some point the unit seems to:
* start making a zzzzt zzzzt noise frequently
* shortly thereafter the red "clean me" light goes on
* then the unit goes in-op even after cleaning and she does clean them regularly
The units are always out of warranty by the time it happens and it's happened to most of them after 1-3 years of service.
So has anyone else had this problem and hopefully has a solution??
