If you decide to get a Amex SPG, the 10K points is the best ever signup bonus (used to be 6K points only). They are also currently running a referral bonus since November. You can check out the SPG conga thread in the SPAM forum and give a fellow FTer a chance of 5K bonus points.

Great info on SPG. I've read a little about it and it sounds like a good card to have, especially when doing the 20K miles at a time. If you want to PM me a link so you get credit for my sign-up I'll use it.
