Ok. Now we are talking. I wonder if these kind of things would sort under the data protection act. I guess not as your name or any other personally identifiable information is stored with the picture. I do agree though that the video should be available to anyone complaining against the actions of the scanners.

I wouldn't even be surprised that certain airport owners would like the idea. To them the screeners are 3rd party providers (in many locations), and I believe that due to the increased security the last decade the quality / experience of the screeners is going drastically down because of the increased number of scanners and the poor working conditions they generally have to enjoy. A proper way to complain to the airport owner about the way their providers are providing services would in most way benefit the airport.

In general security screening is one of those catch-22 jobs. You'd want to have highly trained, skilled and experienced people, but you cannot really pay them well (cause you have to have so many), and their job is awfully boring...
