The biggest negative is the proximity of the galley. There is often a lot of noise associated with meal prep and the chatty FA's and their galley gossip. Also, there is significantly more engine noise due to the proximity of the engines. Now, I actually like to hear the roar of the engines so I don't mind this, but the galley noise & light I found to be annoying. I much prefer 4A & 5A instead since you get 3 full windows, instead of just 1 in 6A.
I don't know if we'll be sleeping during the flight, but I might just reconsider putting us in 6-A/B if the noise from the galley is really that bad.
