2 Adults looking for info on low cost places to stay and eat, also looking for suggested places to see for history/culture/ruins or a must see/visit.

Vacation just for the Adults

Cologne Germany in April 22 - April 28 2007.
2 Adults and a 16 year old, same info requested.
(1 Adult and the teenager will be in Europe for 3 weeks total)

We try to keep travel cost as low as possible due to we will be taking a newly 16 year old neice/nephue for a first international trip every year for the next 4 years... ouch!

Any suggestions would help alot.
