The 200% mileage match is good for both the base and bonus miles. For example, if you had a 2 day rental at Alamo with this promo, you would earn 100 base miles + 200 bonus miles = 300 miles. NW would throw in 600 additional miles. Therefore, you would earn a total of 900 miles, 600 of which would count toward elite status (we refer to these as "credited flight miles").
Even if you aren't an Elite member, this is still a great offer because the 900 miles are good toward free award travel.

WP I registered for 200% bonus on 8-20-2001. I rented a car after flight segment and gave WP #. I saw your post on 8-23-2001 and changed some partners from NW to AA. I knew I had three Hilton reservations that would get me 1000 NW miles each and a bonus of 5000 NW miles based on your explanation of the promotion and would not need the car rental miles at NW.

Now Worldperks says 200% miles is only for base Hilton miles not for Hilton bonus miles. I relied on your post to make mile allocation decisions. I have the receipts showing car rental on 8-20-2001 with NW # and final receipt with AA #.

My current online statment shows:
