NWA is actually owning it. They are also providing the benefits in a consistant manner. The seat was taken by a FC pax, the PE got a seat on the plane, and the plane left on time. A PE getting a FC seat is not a guareenteed benefit. Next they also need to get 3 GAs to be pushers (like in the Kyota subways) so we can get out on time after all that is not just a benefit but an expectation they advertise.
To have 2 or 10 GA is a costly and unneeded responce to a very minor issue. NWA acting in a consistant manner based on my own experince and others who have posted about it.
Actually a PE getting a FC seat is a guaranteed benefit. I believe NW must pay 10,000 miles for every segment a PE doesn't get upgraded (or am I incorrect).
