Thumbs down BA flights from LGW move to LCC Gates

Not sure if it has been posted yet - but I tried searching.

Have just flown LGW-AMS-LHR.

It appears BA are now using the H gates for LGW flights - This is the new Low Cost Terminal at Schipol. Pulled up next to Easyjet and Air Berlin last Saturday.

It thought it may have been a one off, but on arrival at Schipol today, noticed LHR flights departing from D and LGW from H.

Seems like another cost cutting step from BA. For those who don;t know Schipol, Gate H is about a million mile walk from anywhere and there are no Air Bridges - All done by stairs. Perhaps one fo the more regular AMS fliers could also advise if departing at the H gates would also allow you to access the lounge in D.... I'm thinking not.

When will this cost cutting end?
