Three light plane shunts with broken bits of aircraft left behind. Everybody walked away every time, thanks be. Sadly we had to shoot one of the planes.
Scariest on a big plane was on a Pan Am 707 over Alaska; we had to do the duck and roll thing to avoid a midair with another jet, which went by my window at around 1000 mph - and about 1000 feet away. A deadheading PA skipper sitting in the seat in front of me said that was his closest call ever. Dearie me.
