I am trying to book an award ticket with an open jaw for my son. He is travelling from PIH to MDT on June 29 with a return from JFK to PIH on July 23. When I do an award search I get skychoice and a total of 75K miles required. If I understand previous discussions on this topic, open Jaw is permitted and it should only be 50K. What am I missing? Can anyone explain why this should not be 50 K miles?
