I just recently hit gold elite status about 2 weeks ago, and I'm wondering if what I read in the elite info with CO is true...it says that when you reach elite status within one calendar year, you retain this for the following program year...so my question is will I keep Gold for all of 2007? I have booked a ticket flying at the end of Feb 2007 and bought Y class and used the upgrade to first with no problems.
Another question: are there any packets, etc/perks that come in the mail similar to the small one I received with Silver? If so how long does that usually take to arrive after your Gold flight?

The Gold status that you just earned during 2006 is valid until February 28, 2008 (is 2008 a leap year? If so, Feb. 29, 08). Just be certain to earn at least 50k EQMs during 2007 and you'll have Gold status through the end of February 2009.
Your Gold elite credentials should arrive within a couple of weeks; however, when earning a new status level toward the end of the calendar year, CO has been known to hold back mailing new credentials until the end of February when the credentials for the new year are sent out (in this case, the 2007 credentials). If you don't get your new card in a couple of weeks, call the OnePass Service Center.
