Ah, but those lazy babies are freeloading 100% of the time. Often they haven't even had a seat bought on their behalf, so don't even have the right to be in the cabin at all, let alone in the nice bit. Right now I'm leaning towards babies travelling in the hold in individual crates with the cats and dogs. Or possibly on some kind of roof rack. ;-)
I don't know why I keep replying to your posts as I hate to contribute to thread hijacking, but I feel compelled to mention that you're completely wrong. Babies on any international flights (that would be 100% of the flights being discussed in this forum, by the way) pay 10% of the fare plus taxes. So there are zero "free" babies on VS flights as you allude. Believe me, infant tickets are quite expensive considering they do NOT get a seat and, with some exceptions, do NOT get a full baggage allowance.
