As a PLT I just went DCA-LHR in Y as well as 3 out of 4 DCA-ORD in Y. Unless you are willing to pay for your upgrade stickers the 4 they give you for 10,000 miles don't go to far!
Only EXP can help get you out of Y easier.
Either you need to do a MR for PLT or do the Gold Challenge.
