My fiance asked my dad if he could marry me over the iSight.

His parents were visiting us, and so we started a video conference, presumably so that our parents could say hi to each other... Then my fiance surprised everyone (except me) with the question every dad dreads but looks forward to at the same time.

On a more practical note, we use the isights regularly to hang out with each other when he is on the road. I put the computer on the bedside table and fall asleep to him snoring in some hotel halfway across the country. Then we get to wake up to each other in the morning. It's like he never left... except there aren't any socks on the floor and there are fewer dishes to wash.
