Finally some good news.
Comair Pilots Union to Vote on Tentative Agreement That Would Avert Strike
NEW YORK (AP) -- A pilots union for Delta Air Lines subsidiary Comair will vote Thursday evening on a tentative agreement that would avert a strike of the regional airline's 1,500 pilots.
A lawyer for the airline, John Gallagher, reported in court that Comair and the union had made progress in negotiations. He asked a federal bankruptcy judge to delay a decision about whether to block pilots from striking. The airline's pilots fly 795 daily flights to about 100 cities throughout North America.
