Well..... much better than waiting at the gate for GA to appear and being in the herd with the other pax! The WC was right around the corner -- best port in the storm. Had to get it done NOW to make the alternate flight.

I agree -- probably a WC benefit, but Elite status helps as well!

One other note -- my ticket MSP-IAD RT was $167 all-in on a 1 day notice. When rebooked to BWI, posted as a Y, credited as a Y with 50% EQM bonus, but then 'resolved' yesterday through internal processing back to K.
