Fliar, you might want to consider the Landmark Hotel. They have 24-hour rates, so you could check in at midnight and then check out at 9pm. The location is excellent on Sukhumvit, at a SkyTrain station.

A colleague who has stayed there tells me that the rooms/service are about comparable to a Sheraton, but not to a Shangri-La or Sukhothai.
