No... I'm not an official lurker at all... many FT'ers know of me already...

The seats are new, slimmer, space saver seats, now available due to technological advances in cushion comfort

The ET seat pitch is NOT being changed apparantly... the slimmer contoured seats, and removing some of the Club capacity (and therefore extra legroom that gave) has enabled them to put in some extra seats.

The reduction in the number of Club seats was obviously a commercial decision. From what I see, Club has very inconsistent loads, even on the same routes/days, with the exception of LHR... which is why those aircraft are not being reconfigured.

At least Club isn't being removed altoghether! And ET remains the same... with the same legroom... just no way to now get the free extra legroom (or at least not as easy)... it is going to be a much more consistent product.
