Have you tried using the Manage My Booking option on ba.com to allocate a seat.

Arr however Swanhunter aren't you forgetting unless the OP is Silver or Blue or oneworld equivalent since the seating change, you have to wait now until 24 hours before to pick a seat.

Club Europe seating assignments are only for the Frequent Flyers now. Like Club World as well.
