That source is too old, SFO_FT. That page was written 2006/04/27.
The best way to check is, go to delta.com and search (pretend to try to book) for KE codeshared flights. And then you can click "View seats" and can see how the cabin layout looks. Then you'll see if it is new cabin or old config. You can check only DL codeshared KE flights, but it contains all US routes and a lot of Asian routes (except China mainland routes). I think delta site is quite accurate. Actually it can vary day by day, so delta website is good in that aspect.
How to distinguish OLD and NEW version:
747-400:
NEW-has coach class from 28 to 57.
OLD-has coach class from 30(or 28) to 65. (more Y class seats indeed)
777-200:
NEW-has 3-3-3 coach class.
OLD-has 2-5-2 coach class.
And actually there are a lot more ways to figure them out comparing the seatmap at KAL website. If we can check cabin layout (or if we can select seat before paying) at KAL website, it will be better, but they allow to select seat after the paying. sucks.
To sum up the information I've got from delta website:
-US west
LAX: 2 NEW 747s(KE011,017) and 2 OLD 777s(KE015,001-via NRT)
SFO: OLD 777
SEA: NEW 777
LAS: OLD 777
HNL: OLD 777
-US east
JFK: a NEW 747 and a NEW 777
IAD: NEW 747
ATL: NEW 747
ORD: NEW 747
DFW: OLD 777
And the other long hauls with NEW cabin I know are only FRA. Well, LHR and CDG is also hopeful since KE's upgrading work is mostly on 747s, not 777s. It seems that LHR and CDG see upgraded KE aircrafts often.
