Gold card expires while travelling: What do do?
My DC Gold card expires in early January but I'm likely to be on the road (well, in the air) for a couple of months before this happens. What are the consequences of traveling before my new gold card arrives? Will I be turned away from elite check in? Am I banned from lounge access until I can produce my new gold card?
Is there anything I can do to avoid such dire consequences?
