Goodwood Park is an old colonial five-star hotel reminescent of the Raffles without the tourists, and in a completely different league from Elizabeth and Robertson Quay, which are both somewhat musty, cheapish 3-4 stars. Do watch out, though, that the Goodwood Park's new wing is rather anonymous -- you need to go for the old wing if you're looking for character.
