Ya know, this is a bit laughable for me as I have posted here many times about how HP/US' call routing works.

I went ahead and posted because there have been many posts bashing the old US' decision to offshore customer service. Having "newbie" customer service reps on the phone is the price you will pay for Doug Parker & Co bringing those positions back to domestic locations (whether in the USA or Europe.) There's no such thing is a fully trained CSR hitting the phones that will do a perfect job. Not unless US can charge you $25 extra for that phone call you made.......
The call transfer problem needs to be communicated to US directly because this (or these) CSRs have been told a certain key sequence to transfer, but they are obviously getting it wrong. US uses AT&T Transfer Connect (not inside information as I can tell that from the two DTMF tones when I get transfered from N Carolina to AZ.) and they are using the wrong teleset key for the combination. Easily fixed if someone will make them aware of it.
