Ok I found something Odd.

The flight is not showing up anymore at the 9AM slot. There is a 10 AM flight showing up, the one in which I orignally award booked on before I changed over. So I have to think that the 9am flight is totally open, but waiting for the 10am flight to fill up before opening for revenue sales. The opposite was true when I booked the award, the award only gave the option of the 10am flight and never showed the 9am. Then when the 10am award was booked the 9am suddenly showed up. Now the 9am is gone again as I switched my seat over to the 9am. IM is definitely confusing.
