Listen, as for the warnings above about area and safety, remember that everything's relative and everyone has different notions and thresholds. But the fact is that Marriott doesn't put hotels in slums or places with bullets whizzing around or junkies shooting up in the bathrooms. And people get mugged and killed in "nice" areas all the time. So there's no such thing as true safety anyway.
