Coming back from FRA a few weeks back I had a coach exit row on a 777. A German lady with a little child and little English kindly asked me to take her middle seat a few rows back so she and the baby could have more room. Being 6-7 and 260 I kindly declined telling her that's a no no. She disagreed rather strongly. She later found someone in the bulkhead just to my left to give up their seat and then proceeded to scowl at me and say in suddenly good English "I told you so!" I did not feel the need to explain that bulkhead and exit row are not the same thing. I just congratulated her and dove into my SI. The kid screamed the whole way to ATL. Thank goodness for IPODs.
