Obviously, if they were "pretty heavy destinations" as you claim, they'd be served by larger aircraft, dontcha think?
If you had read my previous post you would have seen that I concede they are above average, but merely that.
And then go on to contradict yourself in the same paragraph by committing them again to the "merely average" camp. I call BS. I've flown every legacy carrier, and the comfort and customer service I've found on YX is truly head and shoulders above the rest.
Likewise if you compare Midwest to the Midwest of say 12 years ago it doesn't compare. When they bring back food on china with wine and I don't have to pay for it I'll say they are what they claim, the best care in the air.
Your continued pining for the days of YX's yesteryears is getting annoying, too. They did what they had to for survival, but kept the things important to the business traveler . . . comfort, service, and a very good record at getting you to where you're supposed to be going.
Oh, by the way let's see how signature service plays out with Midwest's agreement with Skywest. I'm guessing "signature" will be an operative or suggestive term while being crammed into a 50 seat RJ ( or better yet on a cold 19 seat Beech, or better yet on a Fairchild jet with a non functioning lav).
I seriously doubt "Signature" will be anything other than its current offering, and that my routes will likely remain unaffected. "Connect" will remain "Connect," regardless of type of regional aircraft flown.
