I tried doing a search. But everything comes up 3 or 4 years old and my hope was maybe Hilton has caught up to the cutting edge of technology.

I needed AA points for an upcoming vacation and have orphaned points in other programs are rarely use. In fact I once lost over 6,000 HHonor points the week before I had a stay at a Hampton that would have kept them current. (I actually had the reservation booked in advance but it didn't matter to the CSR when I tried to reclaim the points, he would only reinstate the account.) So even though the point to miles ratio is bad, I'd rather save orphans than lose them.

I had about 15000 points of which I took and transferred 10000 to convert to 1,500 AA miles. I did this December 13 along with converting orphaned miles from my Priority Club account and my Choice Privileges account. Both the PC and CP awards posted to my AAdvantage account within 2 days. It is almost two weeks later and I'm still waiting for the HHonors transfer. When I transfer anything from my Marriott Rewards account it usually occurs within 2 to 3 days. The searches I did complete indicated there was anywhere from a 3 week to 10 week wait for miles to post back in 2002-2003. Tell me times have changed with Hilton, pleeeease.
