Post AMEX Card Design - Hologram Magstripe

I've always been a fan of classic American Express cards. To my understanding I believe that AMEX has recently revamped the designs of their charge card. The classic Green card got greener (gold got golder) and the monogram background became larger. My interest lies on the magnetic stripe behind the card. I currently hold a Platinum charge card issued in Thailand and Green card issued in the UK. The Thai Plat has a beautiful silver magnetic stripe with hologram (American Express World Service) but the UK Green does not. How consistent is this hologram magnetic stripe used on AMEX cards around the world? Or is it just Plat cards?

The magnetic stripe on my card is similar to the one found on Centurion cards like the one shown in this link http://www.geocities.jp/ctwxg845/centurioncard/newcent4
