Isn't option 3 the most obvious choice, flying business class and having lounge access?

Anyways, to shorten connection time at HK, take CX282 rather than the daily 288. Also, 7000 miles for a The Wing access is not miles well spent. You should pay a small fee to other pay-per-use lounge in HKIA, and save your miles for airline awards.
