I just flew AF11 from JFK to CDG in NTC L'Espace Affaires. While the seat isn't ground-breaking, I think it's a great improvement over any old style business class seat. I was sitting in 1L, which is a seat I like on any 747, and I was able to set the seat to a cradle position that allowed me to sleep on my side with my legs rested against the bulkhead. I found this quite comfortable and slept well. However, I was a bit disappointed at the quality of service. No digestifs were loaded at all, and I gave up tryng to get any water in the middle of the night after ringing my button in 1-minute intervals about five times to no avail. Food was average business class fare, and the wine (I opted not to have the Bordeaux) was OK too.

I was quite positively surprised by the cold buffet they had set up in the JFK lounge, however.
