Take the train, but book in advance!!! Fares booked on the day of departure are eye-wateringly expensive.... Book First class if you can, it often includes a meal / drinks, seats are generous and rarely delayed. Fly BE and BMI baby are LCC..... my exp. of them has been mixed, FLY BE generally good, but flights sometimes consolidated, and old BAE146 jets or New Dash8 Props... BMI baby left me stranded.... B.A used to be just great, but as you know, BA.CON now transferring to fly BE sometime next year.... D'oh! it just gets worse and worse!!!
